Western Equality Women's Group
New Women's Group at Western Equality!
A new women's group at Western Equality (no formal title yet) met for the second time on Monday, March 10. This group meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Western Equality office. This event was started to provide a place for lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women (and their friends and allies) to meet each other and plan events for women. There were 6-8 women at each meeting. Some ideas for events and groups we've discussed so far include dog walks, movie nights, hiking, crafts, a potluck/discussion group for older lesbians, an outdoor activities group, and a book group. The events we have scheduled so far are listed below. Please join us and bring your ideas for future events.
Upcoming Events
Dinner on Wed. May 21 at 6:30 pm at the Hot Tomato Cafe and Pizzeria restaurant in Fruita (201 E. Aspen Avenue).
IF WE HAVE GOOD RESPONSE TO THESE DOG WALKS, THEY WILL CONTINUE ON FRIDAY EVENINGS.
