Colorado ManREACH is a growing group of loving, supportive gay/bi/queer men who are committed to creating the healthy, holistic sommunity we want and deserve. Multi-day gatherings are held regularly at retreat centers around the state. Each gathering offers a fun mix of social activities and educational workshops in a relaxing, accepting and nurturing environment. Open to all gay/bi/queer men who live in rural Colorado. The vision of Colorado ManREACH (Rural Education in Action for Community Health) is to build heart-centered connections and community for gay/bi/queer men in rural Colorado.
Colorado Man REACH reflects the following values: - We are a grass roots and peer-based community. - We are inter-generational and cross-cultural. - We support integrating healthy transformations in ourselves, and our community. - We are open, respectful and honoring in a safe environment. - We model stewardship and mentorship. - We promote health, responsibility and ownership in a gay-affirming community. - We believe in sexuality as a healthy expression of intimacy. - We support deeper connections among men, unaltered by drugs and alchol.
ManREACH activities include:
1) Local social events that are planned and hosted by the local core group.
2) M-Groups that are a special three hour educational and interactive opportunity to meet other men interested in similar things.
3) Statewide gatherings hosted in safe, private locations around the state several times a year.
